A lovely photo of our 2nd group of Year 2 children enjoying their Italian lessons. The children have been learning to count to 10, naming parts of the body and colours in the last few weeks. Although language lessons are not compulsory until Year 3, learning an additional language is an important skill and is best started when children are young. The simple phrases they are learning will help them access the Italian lessons when they eventually move up to Year 3... it's also really good fun!
