The Eco-School Council have been busy organising a litter collecting team this month. Each class is being asked to volunteer to help keep our school a lovely place to learn and play by collecting any litter twice a week. This week Year 6 led the way and an Eco- School Council spoke at assembly making sure everyone knew we had a new ‘green’ litterbin on the playground, that is only for plastic waste. It is the small steps that we take that have big impacts in our community and the children were very keen to help!
